School Choir Contest - Jingle on the Block 2026

Celebrate the holiday season and showcase your students’ talents through the Jingle on the Block School Choir Contest, presented by GuamTime and the Guam Visitors Bureau and powered by Breaking Wave Theatre Company.

A limited number of Guam school choirs (elementary to high school) will be selected to record a 2–3-minute holiday performance at Breaking Wave Theatre Company Headquarters in MongMong-ToTo-Maite. Performances will be shared through GuamTime’s Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube platforms.

Two different schools will be recognized:

  Grand Prize — $1,000: Selected by a panel of judges based on Technicality, Musicality, and Holiday Spirit

  
  


• 
  

  Most Popular Award — $600: Determined through verified community engagement on the official performance posts

  
  

Both winning choirs will also be invited to present their winning song and a short holiday set at Jingle on the Block on Sunday, November 29, 2026, in Tumon.

Registration opens September 29 and closes October 7. Selected schools will be notified by October 9.
