The village of Agat (Hågat) prepares once again to host one of Guam’s most beloved cultural traditions. The 17th Annual Agat Mango Festival returns to the Sagan Bisita grounds from May 22 to May 24, 2026. This three-day celebration honors the island’s favorite summer fruit and highlights the rich agricultural heritage of the southern community.
The Agat Mango Festival is a family-friendly event that brings together residents and visitors to enjoy the "King of Fruits." Attendees can look forward to a wide variety of activities:
Mango Displays and Contests: Marvel at the diversity of local mango varieties. The festival typically features competitions for the largest mango, the most beautiful mango, and even the most unique shapes.
Local Culinary Delights: From pickled mango and mango donuts to fresh smoothies and preserves, the food stalls will offer an array of creative ways to enjoy the harvest.
Artisan Market: Support local entrepreneurs by browsing stalls featuring handmade jewelry, traditional crafts, and unique Guam-themed souvenirs.
Live Entertainment: The Sagan Bisita stage will host local musicians, dance troupes, and cultural performers throughout the weekend.
